Human rights and environmental protection
The protection of human rights is important to us, as is the preservation and protection of our environment. As part of our business activities, we therefore respect human rights and environmental concerns and are committed to ecologically and socially responsible corporate governance.
We consider ourselves bound by the social, occupational health and safety and environmental protection laws of the Federal Republic of Germany as well as the following international standards and guidelines:

- United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights
- Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union
- Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work
- International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights
- International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights
- Minamata Convention on Mercury
- Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants
- Basel Convention on the Control of Transboundary Movements of Hazardous Wastes and Their Disposal
All employees of biomers.net GmbH are committed to these principles and standards and are required to measure their actions and behavior against them.
Furthermore, we expect our suppliers and business partners to commit to respecting human rights and behaving in an environmentally friendly manner and to comply with the aforementioned standards.
As part of recurring risk assessments, we strive to identify human rights and environmental risks in our processes and supply chain and to minimize or eliminate them through appropriate remedial measures.
A complaints procedure enables employees and external persons to draw attention to human rights and environmental risks in our company and at our suppliers. Corresponding information can be sent to our Human Rights Officer (lksg@biomers.net).
Anti-Bribery and Corruption
We are committed to transparent, responsible business conduct and promote a corporate culture based on integrity. Any form of corrupt behavior, be it bribery, granting or accepting advantages, is prohibited in our company.
All business activities should be conducted fairly, honestly and in accordance with the applicable laws. Our employees and business partners are required not to accept or offer any unlawful payments, gifts or other benefits that could exert an unfair influence on business decisions.
Confidentiality and Data Safety
Our company is committed to maintaining the confidentiality and security of all information and data entrusted to us. We recognize the importance of protecting personal and business data and ensure that it is handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws and regulations.
Data is protected against unauthorized access, loss, alteration or disclosure by technical and organizational measures. All employees are obliged to protect confidential information and use it only within the scope of their business duties. We only record data that is necessary for our production processes and service. The disclosure of data to third parties is limited to the minimum necessary for the fulfillment of orders and legal requirements. We are committed to continuously reviewing and improving our security measures to ensure the highest possible level of protection for all relevant data.
Anti-discrimination
